Meet the Librarian

Ms. Crissy Brown

Crissy Brown has been a librarian since 2005 working mainly in public, academic, and legal libraries. And she has been a Folsom Hills parent for 9 years. She is a life long library lover and believes that the library is integral in primary education. 

Her goals for our students this year are:

1) to build a love of reading

2) to understand how the library is organized and how to use it

3) to learn foundational research skills which are so necessary in the middle and high school years.

 Odd and Ends:

-Ms. Brown likes to bake and decorate cakes in her spare time.

-She once played a zombie on an episode of MythBusters, a skill that has not translated well to library work.

-She has an affinity for cheese (some might say an unhealthy affinity).

-She has aged phenomenally.
